This was the state's largest green ash tree and many locals turned out to take home a piece of history and made donations to the Southern Memorial Association. In all, the Southern Memorial Association received donations of $281 which will be used for repairing the damaged wall.

You just couldn't ask for a more beautiful day to be outside working! The Park cleanup Saturday was a great success with over forty people mending fences, raking leaves, weed whacking, cutting firewood, and general cleanup of the park facilities. We are blessed with one of the nicest venues any SCV Camp could ask for and it is a privelage to help keep this hallowed ground in good shape.
